Fees

The different fees applied in the Segura basin to regulate irrigation and electric power production and supply are set out below:

The supreme court has stated the nullity of the second transitional provision and the additional provision first, second paragraph, of the royal decree 198/2015, of 23 march, which develops article 112 bis of the text of the water act and regulated the canon by use of inland waters for the production of electrical energy - canon hidroeléctrico- boundaries in the communities.

Consequently, the hydroelectric canon will only be applicable to:

  • Hydroelectric concessions granted after the entry into force of law 15/2012, of 27 december, fiscal measures for energy sustainability, be told, from 1 january 2013.
  • Previous concessions whose conditions are reviewed and adapted to the regulation of the canon set out in article 112 bis of the Water Law.”
